A heartfelt tribute to my dearest best friend, Rel (Narelle Grech), taken from us after a two year battle with bowel cancer in 2013. She was 30 years old.

 

Never underestimate the profound power of friendship. Rel was a truly magnetic soul, her heart as kind and generous as it was boundless and beautiful—like the vast night sky. Those who knew her will forever remember the unique pitch and volume of her laughter and the radiant light she brought into every room.​

 

I will never stop missing her. She was my better half, my greatest supporter, and the brightest star whose brilliance continues to shine on all the lives she touched. I am eternally grateful to have shared this world with her.​
